A go-to ear protection company in the personal protective equipment, Howard Leight was ready to take their knowledge of hearing protection and conservation to their users in a unique way after years of maintaining a great reputation. Our work with them led to the creation of a national hearing conservation campaign brand with identity work leading to print ad and website design. The selected campaign concept, called ‘Start a Revolution,’ created a grass-roots feel unseen amongst their rather conservative competition.
Supported with informative but creative messaging and content, the elements of the print creative were created in house in different visual styles on a small budget; stock photography, hand created illustrative elements and personal snapshots created the bank of imagery used to express the ad concepts. Following the print ad campaign, the front-end design of the accompanying web site was developed with the same bold feel of the print campaign.
